The initial intake gathers relevant information about the case and refers it to a Mediation Coordinator, who assigns the case to the most appropriate staff mediator. This professional will be responsible for managing the case from intake to final resolution.
Covenant members can be referred to DJS Mediation through existing conflict protocol, including escalation from the corporate Human Resources Department, mental health providers or attorneys. Conversely, DJS Mediators may refer those participating in mediation to other supported services that may already be provided through your organization.
We work with each business to promote the Staff Mediation Incentives program. Promotional activities may include educational programs such as conflict management seminars, as well as paycheck notices, emails, and newsletters. For companies retaining at least $1000 monthly, a free awareness workshop is available at no charge.
